Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility

HHW Facility Closed for the Season

The Facility closed for the 2017 season the end of October.  The Facility will reopen in April 2018 (see calendar below).  If you have to store your household hazardous waste until it reopens, please follow these simple steps to safely store your items over the winter.

  1. Keep products away from heat sources, such as furnaces, as many release dangerous gases if they catch fire.
  2. Do not store products where they can freeze.
  3. Keep products in the original containers, with labels attached.
  4. Do not mix products.
  5. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
